UPDATE: 70+ Dead Bodies Found In Uhaul Trucks At Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home – The number of bodies increased from 50 to 70+ after a CBS report came in.
Some of the bodies were thawing out and leaking body fluids onto the streets. The local residents have been dealing with the smell for days and after reports came in the police began their investigation.
The funeral home where the 70+ dead bodies were found is the “Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home”, located at 2037A Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11234. You can visit the funeral home’s website here.
A brief overview of their website indicates they stopped publishing obituaries online in March, which could be an indicator that the business was clearly falling behind on their day to day operations.
The funeral home also had several leased reefer trailers (refrigerated trailers) in the parking lot. It seems that the refrigerated areas filled up and the owner was left with no options, or made a very bad decision.
Several local residents were interviewed and they all seem to be overwhelmed at the level of disrespect for the dead.
The funeral home has refused to comment on the investigation.
The funeral home has since lost its license to operate after the Department of Health was made aware of the situation.
“Following an investigation by the State Department of Health, I issued an immediate suspension order to the Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home in Brooklyn – whose actions were appalling, disrespectful to the families of the deceased, and completely unacceptable,” said state Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker.

and has been banned from renting trucks from Uhaul ever again.
Uhaul issued a statement to TMZ saying, “This is a wrongful, egregious and inhumane use of our equipment.”

Coronavirus Deaths Are Clearly Overwhelming Our Medical System
Regardless of the conspiracy theories regarding “empty hospitals” etc.. It is clear that the current medical system has overwhelmed the capacity for at least one local funeral home.
We are told the pandemic has passed the peak and the amount of infected are declining. We should see the amount of dead decline as well. It seems that although the hospitals may be staffed to handle the incoming patients that perhaps the funeral homes were overlooked in this crisis response.
