This week there has been multiple posts going viral throughout the Facebook community related to “Bagets”. This search term is obviously some kind of term pedophiles use on Facebook to identify their kiddie porn and share it among each other.
How did Facebook miss the ‘BAGETS’ child porn?
The pedophilia content is being hosted primarily by “Snapwidget”. Snapwidget is some kind of “free technology” that is targeted towards Instagram users.
Snapwidget offers a widget that you can use to host Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube content on your website. Apparently, pedophiles can also use Snapwidget to post child porn on Facebook, as this recent online pedophilia activity proves.
Here is the Snapwidget advertisement below:
Facebook Users Publicly Expose The ‘BAGETS’ Pedophile Feed
Regular Facebook users have stumbled across this “BAGETS” keyword and exposed the users as the sick sexual deviant pedophiles that they are.
The “Bagets” Facebook posts have been reported to Facebook many times at this point. Perhaps, there have been hundreds of reports considering the amount of shares and interactions on the posts exposing the pedophile activity and content.
This single post exposing the ‘BAGETS’ search feed on Facebook has gotten over 7,000 shares in less than a day, with over 500 comments. Still the ‘BAGETS’ feed was full of child porn and sexually deviant images at the time of writing this article on 8/29/2020.
Facebook Removes ‘BAGETS’ Child Porn Pedophilia Content
Facebook has dealt with child porn and other disgusting content for decades. Facebook has since developed artificial intelligence filters as well as hired humans to review and remove content like this.
Obviously, the Snapwidget technology is able to get around the AI filters. As you can see in the Facebook Post in this article, there was at least 15 hours between her public post exposing the ‘Bagets’ feed and at least one report to Facebook.
UPDATE: As of 3:00 AM 8/30/2020 Facebook has completely removed all of the content including the word ‘BAGETS’. It seems like it took Facebook about 24 hours to remove this content. Although, it still exists elsewhere, like Instagram and Twitter.
Reporting Child Porn Online Like ‘BAGETS’
One user, reported the posts to the “FBI Cyber Crime Unit” and “The National Center For Missing & Exploited Children“. Perhaps Facebook will work with these agencies as they look into this report.
Just deleting the content is not going to change anything. These types of online child porn and pedophilia activity could lead to the arrests of sex traffickers, pedophiles and rapists.
At Next Up News, we believe Facebook has an obligation to the public and a moral responsibility to ensure justice is served or at minimum Facebook should make its’ strongest attempt to do so. Facebook has a unique position to expose the location, personal information and online activity of these pedophile and child porn posters.
Let’s hope they do so. We have done our part and will continue to do so.

Emergencies: If someone is in imminent danger, call 911 or your local police immediately.
What is Bagets or a Baget?
It seems ‘Bagets’ was a Filipino 2-part film about young boys originally released in 1984. These types of jargon are common in the pedophile community. Basically, anything that is related to young boys or girls could be used as the new lingo as people expose the currently used words, like, ‘Bagets’.
On Urban Dictionary, the word “baget” is defined as:
baget
a word that, when used as a last name signifies a person who watches a great deal of furry child porn. – https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=baget
Continued ‘Bagets’ Research on Instagram
The ‘BAGETS’ feed on Instagram still produces thousands of results, 42,682 posts to be exact. After scrolling down, it didn’t take 30 seconds to see some kind of sexually explicit content that included a younger male.
Remember, Facebook owns Instagram. Facebook obviously doesn’t share their content review information across platforms. Although the ‘BAGETS’ search results have been removed on Facebook, the results on Instagram are still live.

SEND FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM THIS SUGGESTION
SUGGESTION: Facebook should immediately change their policy of running content review on both Facebook and Instagram separately. The should immediately combine the two processes or allow sharing between departments, at least in situations like this where children are in potential danger and being exploited online.

‘BAGETS’ Explicit Content On Instagram
The Instagram ‘BAGETS’ feed seems to be littered with all kinds of different posts, but they all seem to be Filipino or Food related. You will also see the recent Facebook posts exposing ‘BAGETS’ on Facebook, posted on Instagram as screenshots.
If you find any child porn or content that exploits children on Instagram report it. Use the links in this article to make reports to the FBI and the NCMEC.
‘BAGETS’ Child Porn Posted All Over Twitter
After researching this story further into Instagram and doing some Google searches, I found a trending graph from Twitter showing the term being used more frequently. Of course, these pedophiles have posted their child porn all over Twitter as well.
Just go to the ‘BAGETS’ feed on twitter and start reporting the content if you have the stomach for it. Remember send a report to the FBI and the NCMEC as well.
This is perhaps one reason we do need a 3rd party to help regulate the removal of content online. Perhaps this company could easily squash this disgusting content and help law enforcement quickly round up everyone worldwide where its possible to press charges and open investigations.

What to do about these pedophiles who exploit children online and post child porn?
I firmly believe that Facebook at minimum has a responsibility to manage both Instagram and Facebook better and share this type of abusive content and illegal activity between both companies. Also, if they are not immediately handing over the users information to law enforcement they should.
Additionally, we need to consider using a 3rd party for this type of content. To be clear, this is not a push for a 3rd party censorship company like Facebook and others have hired in the past, but rather a single company that manages all of the illegal content relative to exploiting children on all platforms. We have a moral responsibility as a species and a society to protect our children and save those who are in danger and vulnerable to this type of sick abuse.
One user on Twitter suggested that we just shut all 3 platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram down. Just shut them down for good. This would not be easy, it would be fought hard legally, but who knows?
Maybe we should reboot social media and create harsh penalties for allowing this type of content to remain online after it’s been reported. Additionally, allowing users who contribute to the exploitation of children to remain on these platforms should be treated as a crime as well by aiding and abetting the communication between and transfer of data between pedophiles and sex traffickers. There are many legal avenues the public could develop a class action suit from. The federal government however could take further steps much faster. Maybe we should publicly petition Donald Trump on this.
Please share this article and spread awareness. Thank you all for reading.
